Dr Kee Kirk Chin is Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Apex Healthcare Berhad, a leading manufacturer and distributor of pharmaceuticals, consumer healthcare products, and medical devices across Singapore and Malaysia.

A dedicated advocate for youth music education, Dr Kee served as Chairman of the Singapore National Youth Orchestra from 2004 to 2015, during which he played a pivotal role in strengthening its position as a national project of excellence under the Singapore Ministry of Education. Following the orchestra’s transition to the Singapore Symphony Group in 2016, he continued to contribute as a member of the SNYO Committee through 2024, supporting its artistic and educational mission.

In recognition of his significant contributions to youth development and the arts, Dr Kee was awarded the Public Service Star (BBM) in 2015 by the President of the Republic of Singapore.

As a member of the Advisory Board, Dr Kee brings extensive leadership experience and a longstanding commitment to nurturing young musical talent, contributing to the festival’s vision of establishing a world-class platform for artistic excellence and education in Singapore.
