Founding
The Swan International Music Society (SIMS) was founded as both a registered society in Singapore and a 501(c)(3) organisation in the United States. SIMS strengthens international connectivity in classical music and fosters cross-cultural exchange for young musicians across Singapore and the wider ASEAN region.
Its flagship programme, the Swan International Music Festival, is Singapore’s first holistic international student festival focused on rigorous training, high-level performance, and cultural dialogue, presented in proud collaboration with Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts & University of the Arts Singapore.
The name “Swan” symbolises elegance and transformation, reflecting the organisation’s commitment to artistic growth and development.
